Muela Full Tang Pakkawood, Satin X50CrMoV15 (REBECO-11R)

REBECO-11R is a classic hunting knife about full tang construction. The line of REBECO knives from the Spanish Muela Company is distinguished by its stylish appearance. Made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel. An ideal tool for hunting enthusiasts, it works as a universal or survival knife.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high carbon martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.

Blade - with a Clip Point type, 3 mm thickness, with good mechanical properties and a long focus. Smooth blade (Plain) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind) providing good cutting properties. Satin Finish (semi-matt) eliminating reflections.

Handle - profiled under the palm of the hand, covered with natural wooden claddings made of pakka wood (laminate) in brown color provides a secure grip. The high-nickel brass bolster at the base of the blade emphasizes the exclusive appearance of the whole. Finger Choil profiled undercut under the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge (increases control of the knife). The knife fits very well in the hand, does not slip, it can be easily operated in all conditions. 

Sheath - hand-stitched, extended, protecting the blade with part of the handle. Made of top quality brown cowhide with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
