All-year-round Lightweight Boot Socks made by Blackhawk Company , designed to ensure maximum comfort, are characterized by high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage.

The use of advanced materials, independent compression zones improves blood circulation during use. The pressure-free wide welt enables long-term use. Ergonomic design ensures sufficient heel support, good foot shock absorption and protects against corns. Anatomical structure: Y-hell (taking care of the heel) and seamless toe line. Flexible material around the ankle and instep maintains the shape of the sock, prevents it from slipping and protects the foot against blisters.

Thanks to their design, socks are perfect for military applications, sports, outdoor and everyday use. The advanced design and materials used perfectly complement the Blackhawk tactical boots. The materials used maintain the right temperature and eliminate excess moisture outside. Virgin wool and Coolmax® material are used in the sock.

Wool- in relation to synthetic fibers, wool has a greater ability to return to its natural length after stretching. Wool fibers have hygroscopic abilities (it is the ability to absorb and release moisture). Wool absorbs up to 1/3 of its weight in moisture. It has a higher flash point than most synthetic or cotton fibers. Wool gives off heat more slowly and does not pick up static, because the storage of moisture inside the material prevents the formation of electrostatic charges.

Virgin wool - spun wool for the first time not used in any production yet. It has a thickness greater than 24 microns (the diameter of a woolen fiber is defined in microns), the lower the micron value, the finer the fibers are.
