The Smith's 10" Diamond Sharpening Nib features a unique sharpening surface with overlapping oval holes that are coated with multiple layers of microscopic sized monocrystalline diamonds. This design helps speed up the sharpening process by collecting and trapping metal filings that normally accumulate during sharpening. The nib is equipped with a comfortable rubber soft-grip handle and a wide hand guard for safety. Unlike conventional nibs that only align the cutting edge, the Smith's 10" Diamond Nib simultaneously sharpens and aligns the edge.
