Made of aluminum oxide (alumina) with a triangular cross section of 7"x 0.5" (178mm x 13mm). For sharpening knives, machetes, scissors, serrated edges, pointed objects (for example: hooks) and small tools. Recommended after using a medium grain ceramic rod - Medium Grit gradation (204M1). Sharpener has 3 working edges, including one with a groove for fishing hooks, pliers, screwdrivers, awls, etc.
