N690Co - High carbon stainless steel blade with cobalt added for structural uniformity. Hardened to 58-60 HRC. Manufactured in Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm.
Physical Vapor Deposition Gun Met - durability of the surface and edges of the blade is increased by the PVD method consisting in deposition of thin layers from the gas phase. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as evaporation at high temperature in a vacuum followed by condensation. Applied coating has very high hardness which significantly increases the blade resistance to rust and abrasive wear.
