420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). It offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, ductility, machinability and corrosion resistance. The high carbon content forms chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades, and medical instruments.
Blade - Trailing Point type for precision work and cutting with a marked belly, with an elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade in combination with Hollow Grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.
