Bison-9NL is a compact, artfully crafted hunting knife for pelting with a fixed blade and full-tang design. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunters, it works as a universal knife. Manufactured from MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blade - with a Clip Point type, 3.6 mm thickness with good mechanical properties and long-lasting sharpness. Smooth blade Plain was made with a concave cut (Hollow grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. The notched ramp for the thumb (on the spine of the blade) and the Finger Choil, the profiled undercut to the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge increase the control of the knife.
Handle - ergonomic, profiled under the palm provides a perfect grip during work. Linings in brown color are made of exotic hardwood rosewood. The cover fixing rivets are made of steel. In the rear part of the handle was placed a gap interwoven leather strap.
Case - extended, protecting the head with a part of the handle. Made of brown leather with embossed company logo, fastened with a snap. The sheath was sewn on the edges with a decorative thread. Fastening to a belt or gear allows you to carry the knife in a vertical position.
