BFØ R CD HCS, slim and ultra-light 53 g, universal EDC folder. Extrema Ratio folding knife from the Basic Folder line. Equipped with blade extension / lever for quick opening of the High Speed Razor Opening System. The cutting capabilities of the knife are surprising compared to its appearance.
Blade - extremely sharp with a Drop Point profile, 2.5 mm thickness with a clearly defined belly of the blade. Made of good sharpness, durable high-grade N690 high-grade stainless steel with a hardness of 58 HRC, manufactured at the Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm steel mill. The blade is finished with a masking small scratches, a non-reflective Stone Washed coating. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with full flat cut (Full Flat Grind) which ensures strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Robust blade blockade: Liner-Lock type.
Handle - in HCS (Hybrid Coyote Sage) color. Liners made of stainless steel and technopolymer (reinforced nylon) ensure lightness and structural strength. The open construction, called „open-backed” simplifies cleaning and maintenance. A solid metal left / right side clip (deep-pocket metal clip) allows you to carry the knife deep in the pocket (discreetly) in the tip-up position. In the back of the cladding was placed oval gap (lanyard hole) for the cord.
Technopolymer - also known as the successor to metal. Modern material with a high percentage of glass fibers associated with the polymer base and the presence (or not) of aramid (synthetic fibers, including Kevlar). It is characterized by unusual mechanical and thermal parameters. Advantages: corrosion resistant, low weight, no maintenance (low friction coefficient), electrical insulation (prevents electric conduction), no reaction to magnetic field, any colors.
