CPM S30V- A corrosion-resistant, high-strength AmericanCPM S30Vpowder steel with added carbon, chromium and vanadium with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. This exceptional steel is designed for the production of high quality blades and knife wedges. Manufactured at Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM).
Blade -Clip Pointprovides a long, gently curved cutting edge.Plainblade is Full Flat Grind. Enlarged 14 mm SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) for ambidextrous thumb opening. Notched back of the head, the ramp (jimping / crosshatching) positions the thumb, gives a solid support and makes it easier to operate the folder.Back-Lockof the head with additional Boye Detent, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped.
Handle- pink color. Non-slip, Bi-Directional Texturing and Spine Jimping grip reinforcement. Made ofFRN(Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) plastic, a fiberglass reinforced nylon. Black steel hourglass clip with 4-way (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. Rear lanyard hole, enlarged cord hole.
