Steel
M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade
Harpoon style with pronounced belly and scratch-masking Stone Washed matt finish. Despite the thickness of the blade, the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting characteristics combined with extreme strength. A ball bearing system aids in the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a quick flipper. Flipper consists of a small lever (protrusion) protruding beyond the back of the handle when the head is closed. In the open position it serves as a hilt, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle
Pieces of solid titanium coated with Bead Blasted matte finish. The facings were screwed to CNC-milled titanium backspacer, which means practically indestructible construction. Cover chamfer eliminates sharp edges for comfort and fore finger groove improves grip security. The right-handed, single-position titanium deep clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the tip-up position. At the end of the handle, in the backspacer recess, a lanyard hole, a rope hole.
