Black Damascus - stainless, blackened Damascus steel with unique pattern. Finished using the Black Hand Rubbed method of blackened, hand rubbed damascus. A blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and put together in different ways to produce this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.

Double Detent Slip-Joint - a "no lock" non-locking mechanism used in folders where the blade is held in the open position by spring pressure on a flat section at the back of the blade shank during use. The Slip Joint holds the blade in both the folded and unfolded positions. When folded, it generates a smooth resistance as in a knife equipped with a traditional locking mechanism. To avoid accidental opening during carrying, the blade is held in the closed position by two steel Double Detent balls, one on each side of the blade.

Blade - clip point type, made of damast with beautiful and unique design. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle-sharp tip. The high concave Hollow Grind provides powerful slicing performance while the aggressively hollowed clip point is suitable for piercing and precision work. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened in two ways, via a milled recess in the blade or a front flipper. The whole thing is locked by Double Detent Slip Joint, which will make our Appalachian completely legal in many countries.

Handle - clad with layers of gray G10 and Rose Pattern Carbon Fiber. Thanks to the interweaving of layers, an unusual pattern was obtained, which looks amazing and provides sufficient grip. The whole thing was attached to black stainless-steel liners. In practice this means many years of work without weakening the construction. Backspacer made of the same material as the covers. Pivot axis with stylized Civivi brand logo. Single-position, right-handed deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position.
