Blade

Tanto type blade with 3.5 mm thickness. Made of 440C stainless steel, characterized by high hardness, good blade retention and high resistance to corrosion. Extended cutting edge and mixed grind provide excellent cutting properties. The precision part of the blade is Hollow Grind and the tip is Flat Grind for added strength. The blade is finished in Black Stonewashed method for masking scratches.

Steel

AISI 440C (American Iron and Steel Institute) high carbon (min. 0.95%) martensitic alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC and impressively high strength and corrosion resistance, containing min. 16% chromium. The high carbon content generates chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools, knife and scissor blades and medical instruments.

Handle

Made of black G10 composite in the form of a circle which fits comfortably in the hand. Texturing of the handle improves grip. Comfortable place to put fingers, for better grip in the upper part for a secure position of the thumb was made notches (jimping). In the center of the handle is a lanyard hole for safety or decorative cord.

Sheath

Unusually flat and, unlike most products of this type on the market, not excessively wide. Made of kydex, with holes at the edges for multi-position mounting to a belt or neck chain. Equipped with a clip for carrying in a pocket.
