Maserin D-Dut Red Aluminum, Stonewashed 440C by Bonus Knife/Multi-Tool (214/R)

D-Dut 214 Red Aluminium, Stonewashed a multitool folding knife from Maserin, combines the functionality of a multitool with a folding knife offering the essential features you'd expect from an E.D.C. knife. Coming from Italian designer Alessandro Olivetto of Bonus Design, the design was awarded the prestigious Most Innovative Imported Design 2021 award at the Blade Show knife fair.

AISI 440C (American Iron and Steel Institute) martensitic alloy stainless steel has a high 1.10% carbon (C) and high 16.0% chromium (Cr) content and impressive corrosion resistance. It is characterized by a hardness in the 57-59 HRC range. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing excellent wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools knife blades and scissors, as well as medical tools.

Blade - Drop Point type finished with a scratch-masking Stonewash method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Shims are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade's ejection mechanism, which can be opened with the help of a hole in the wedge (Thumb Hole). The whole thing is locked with a solid and proven Liner Lock.

Handle - made of anodized aluminum. Simple, non-trivial design gives the assurance of many years of use. The upper part contains additional tools making this knife a multifunctional tool. The set includes:

In the back of the lanyard hole, a hole for threading a belaying or decorative cord.

Sheath - a nylon pouch for safe carrying and storage of the knife.
