AUS-10 - a high-carbon Japanese stainless steel produced at the steel mills of Takefu Special Steel Corporation, based in Fukui. Rich in vanadium 0.3% (V), molybdenum 1.20% (Mo) and cobalt 1.5% (Co). A balanced combination of high carbon content of 1.05% (C) and chromium content of 15.50% (Cr) makes it a stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness (hardened to around 60 HRC) and the ability to hold an edge for a long time. As a result, the knife can be easily sharpened, providing a razor-sharp blade.

Blade - upswept type (persian), finished in an elegant Satin method. The long, strong cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind and wide blade guarantee excellent cutting properties.
