- Eastwood Tiger full-size folder with a blade for aggressive use. Designed for users who seek the reliability of a fixed blade without wanting to give up the size of a folding knife. The fruit of a collaboration between designer Gudy van Poppel and the Fox

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Eastwood Tiger OD Green Canvas Micarta, Stonewashed extremely effective, full size (full size)ny E.D.C. folder with a blade designed for aggressive use. Designed for users who seek the reliability of a fixed blade, but don't want to give up the compact size of a folding knife. The fruit of knifemaker Gudy van Poppel's collaboration with Italian brand Fox.
Gudy van Poppel started his career as a blacksmith, making blades for several decades. In the mid-1990s, he learned to forge his own Damascus steel. Gudy also manufactures all the parts for his knives himself, including screws and washers. He finishes his designs with natural materials like mammoth or walrus tusks and exotic wood.
High Speed D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 59-61 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Clip Point with an aggressive shape and clearly marked belly finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed finish. The massive blade combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular Liner Lock.
Handle - made of green Micarta (high-pressure pressed canvas with synthetic resin), beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. The facings are screwed to an intricately machined aluminum backspacer, they provide assurance of many years of use. Upper jimping, a notched palm rest, was made along the entire length of the backspacer. A single-position (right) steel deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade tip up) position. Hidden lanyard hole in the back, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
Case - included zippered soft case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
