High Speed D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - sheepsfoot type, finished to mask scratches and prevent glare using Black Stonewashed method. The curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. The knife can be opened with a hole in the wedge, so both right and left-handed people will have no problem with this. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle - green anodized aluminum grips, textured for improved grip confidence. Simple, sturdy construction gives you the assurance of many years of use. Deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip confidence. Two-position (right/left) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
