D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 59-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Spear Point type finished in an elegant Satin method. Double-edged blade, derived with a high Flat Grind for excellent cutting properties. The centrally placed grain increases the strength of the blade. As a result, while maintaining high strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. Handle - made of black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with perfectly matched Carbon Fiber inserts. Thanks to the textured surface, the knife does not slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the back of the Handle for a more secure grip. The slim design makes it possible to hide the knife in any pocket. The two-position clip (right/left), allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position. On the back of the Handle there is a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
