Bob Terzuola is a legendary American knifemaker who has been creating amazing tactical knives for 40 years. He was born in 1944 in New York City, and after studying at NYU he went to Panama as a Peace Corps volunteer. He later moved to Guatemala, where he learned to carve jade and became a jeweler. He began making knives in 1979 and joined the Knifemakers' Guild in 1981. His knives are distinguished by their simple, elegant and functional design. He is considered the father of the tactical knife and the author of a book on the subject. He has worked with many other knifemakers and manufacturing companies such as Spyderco, Strider Knives and Microtech Knives. He currently lives and works in San Diego, California.
CPM MagnaCut - a powder stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to between 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more "conventional" steels. Blade - of Drop Point shape with a single-sided cutting edge and a long false blade on top. Finished with a bath of fine Stonewashed stones and then covered with a dark coating. The blade was brought out with a Flat grind for excellent cutting and especially penetration properties. At the base of the Blade double finger guard double-sided elevation to protect the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest to increase control of the knife for precision work.
Handle - grips made of Dark Matter Red Carbon Fiber composite, dyed carbon fiber and synthetic resin. It provides lightness and the ergonomic shape improves sure grip especially with wet hands. Bolted directly to the tango, which ensures the virtually indestructibility of such a design. Around the front screw decorative collar cap made of titanium. In the rear part a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
Sheath - made of high-quality leather, with an eye for hanging on the belt. The magnets placed there hold the sheath. You can also put it in your pocket, the ear then fulfills the role of a clip, as in folders.
