Distinguishing features of the Police Stainless Steel model - a wide blade derived with a flat grind; steel grips; an extremely durable Back-Lock mechanism; a four-plane clip. VG-10 - a grade of tool-grade stainless alloy steel created in Japan specifically for making premium blades and knives. The steel recipe was created by Takefu Special Steel co. Ltd, whose headquarters are located in Takefu, Fukui Prefecture. Initially used in the production of kitchen knives, it quickly found use as an excellent material for utility blades. Due to import restrictions, almost all knives made of VG-10 steel are produced in Seki, Japan.

Combo Edge - (partially serrated), a combination of a serrated Spyder blade for aggressive cutting of hard materials, plastics, fibers and a classic Plain blade used for precision cuts. The Spyder blade consists of alternating one large and two small teeth, the so-called two-step. This pattern increases the length of the cutting edge by up to 24% compared to a straight blade.

Blade - Clip Point provides an excellent low-friction cutting edge geometry. The Combo Edge blade is derived with a Flat Grind to reduce weight and improve cutting properties. The enlarged 14mm round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. Notched section of the Blade's back, ramp (jimping / crosshatching) positions the thumb and gives solid support. Extremely sturdy Blade Back Lock mechanism with an additional Boye Detent notch, preventing accidental release of the lock when gripping the knife firmly.

Handle - solid steel plates bolted to a metal frame. This solid construction provides great strength and resistance to external factors. Sturdy metal screw-on hourglass clip with 4-way (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. Lanyard hole for pulling the safety cable.
