CPM MagnaCut - Powdered stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened between 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more "conventional" steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. Blade - drop point type, finished with an elegant satin finish. The long cutting edge, with a prominent belly, converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the wide blade. The thickness of the wedge provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the knife's opening mechanism with a double-sided peg in the wedge (thumb stud). On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid button lock that allows gravity to open and close the knife.
Handle - grips made of Dark Matter Green Carbon Fiber, a striking composite of carbon fiber and synthetic resin, a material virtually impervious to weather, heat and cold.
