CPM MagnaCut - Powdered stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened between 60.5-62.5 HRC. Blade - machine ground D/E (Double Edge Dagger) type with a double-edged symmetrical blade. Top cutting edge serrated, perfect for cutting hard materials or ropes. Finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles. The blade is brought out with a high Flat Grind for excellent cutting qualities. Centrally placed grain grooves (blood-draining slots) increase the Blade's strength. As a result, while retaining its strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. The mechanism of extending / retracting the blade by means of a moled stepped Thumb Slide requiring for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring.
Handle - precision CNC-milled from 6061-T6 aluminum with a perfectly matched carbon fiber inlay. The Carbon Fiber texture makes the knife non-slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The blue color of the slide contrasts beautifully with the deep black of the Handle. The slim design allows the knife to be tucked and carried in any pocket. The milled, two-position reversible (right/left) titanium deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket in tip-down position (blade tip down). The Handle is finished with a glass breaker.
