Matthew Wehrwein - an American knifemaker who started collecting knives in May 2017 and became involved in the knife community on social media. It was there that he started showing modified and customized knives. After about a year or two, he tried to create his first fixed blade knife. He was immediately hooked and began the long road of learning how to make folding knives! In 2019, he founded Wehr Knives.

14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills . An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Blade - Reverse Tanto type , finished masking minor scratches with a bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles and then covered with a black coating. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. We can also open the knife with the help of a hole in the wedge (thumb hole). On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle - grips made of rough G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) with a distinctive surface texture, which were screwed to steel liners.
