Niolox - tool steel with good edge holding and high strength. Hardened in the range of 58-60 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the steel's wear resistance. Niolox contains 0.7% of it . Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, it contains 12.7% chromium (Cr). Manufactured by the German Lohmann steelworks .
Blade - extremely sharp with Straight Edge profile with a pronounced belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Plain blade is brought out with a high flat gr ind (Flat Grind), the high grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Finished with an elegant satin finish. The slightly marked hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - covered with beautiful Santos wood grips with a unique grain pattern. They provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The symmetrical design of the Handle allows you to hold the knife both ways, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip.
