Elmax - considered the “best all-around knife steel” modern alloy steel with a high content of 17.30% (Cr), carbon 1.70% (C), vanadium 3.00% (V), molybdenum 1.00% (Mo), silicon 0.80% (Si). Hardened in the range of 57-62 HRC. Produced by powder metallurgy method of mixing finely powdered materials, pressing to the desired shape, and then heating to sinter or bind the material. It is characterized by extreme edge holding, high wear and corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability. Manufactured at the Böhler-Uddeholm steel mills in Austria.

Blade - Persian type, finished with a scratch-masking Bead Blasted glazed. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. For improved piercing capability, a tapered swedge at the top. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Handle - made of titanium 6AL4V, for improved grip glazed Bead Blasted. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges. Only a few companies are able to make the Handle with such incredible accuracy! A series of holes not only relieves physical and visual stress on the Handle but also improves grip security. The single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. Above the clip a lanyard hole, a hole that allows you to thread a safety or decorative cord.

Case - included zippered soft nylon case with manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
