D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat -treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
B-Lock (Crossbar Lock) - a crossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the Handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the locked position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the back of the blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the B-Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.
Blade - Wharncliffe type, finished with elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a dual thumb stud in the wedge on both sides. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid B-Lock.
Handle - made of G10 composite, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Aggressive texture of the grips provides a secure grip, even with wet hands. The cover's chamfered edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the front-made finger undercut improves ergonomics. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simple, solid design gives you the assurance of many years of use. The two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (with the tip of the blade upward).
