CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. Blade- wide, Clip Point type, finished with a scratch-masking Bead Blasted finish. The expansive belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip. The solid thickness of the blade combined with the high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. The knife is opened with a button on the left side of the handle. To maintain full control of the blade, an upper jimping, notched thumb rest is made on the back of the blade. The whole is locked with the well-known and proven Button Lock.
Handle - precisely made on CNC milling machines from 6061-T6 aluminum. Perfectly fitted inlays (inlay) of special Black Traction Tape material with sandpaper texture make the knife does not slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The pivot axis decorated with a designer screw. Milled, two-position (right/left) titanium deep-carry clip allows to carry the knife in tip-up position. Above the clip a lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety cable.
