Keanu Alfaro, an experienced industrial designer and entrepreneur from San Diego, California, USA, has an unwavering passion for creating innovative knives and everyday tools. His youth was spent playing sports, hiking, building things and exploring the world, and it was during these adventures that he discovered his fascination with knives and tools. In 2021, Keanu began his career by joining a prestigious knife and tool company. He quickly made a name for himself as a talented designer, known for his ability to create products that combine functionality with aesthetics.

CPM 154CM - a high-quality stainless steel used in the manufacture of knives and other cutting tools. It is a premium steel that offers excellent edge retention, strength and corrosion resistance. 154CM steel was developed by Crucible Industries, which specializes in specialty metals for industrial applications. It contains a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium, which give it unique properties. The name “154CM” stands for 1.54% carbon and the inclusion of the elements chromium and molybdenum. It is often compared to other premium steels such as S30V, S35VN and CPM-20CV. Knives made from 154CM steel are prized by enthusiasts and professionals alike for their superior performance and durability.

Blade - Tanto type, with a striking Two Tone finish, satin cut, the rest of theblade finished with Stonewashed. The geometric belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings assist in opening the blade with the flipper fin. A section of the blade's back is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - grips made of G10 composite laminated on the surface with a layer of Carbon Fiber, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and characteristic vertical surface grooves improve grip security. The open-backed design, fixed with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The single-position (right) clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
