URO OD Green Canvas Micarta, Acid Washed, is a massive outdoor knife developed by Wander Tactical. Wander Tactical was founded in 2015 by two enthusiasts: Dino Picco, born in 1968 in Milan, and Alessandro “Alex” Bassi, born in 1979 in Lodi, near Milan. Dino, raised in an artistic environment, has gained recognition as a graphic designer and nature illustrator. His love of knives, developed since his youth, merged with his technical knowledge and design talent, leading to the creation of unique tools. Alex, with a background in science, is an expert in the field of survivalism, having attended numerous courses such as Urban Survival Attitude and Preparedness Skills. His experience in wilderness survival and passion for photography translated into the functionality and aesthetics of the designed knives. Together, combining Dino's artistic and technical skills with Alex's scientific approach and survivalist experience, they have created a brand known for high-quality knives that combine functionality with imonizing aesthetics

Niolox - tool steel with good edge holding and high strength. Hardened in the range of 58-60 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the steel's wear resistance. Niolox contains 0.7% of it. Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, it contains 12.7% chromium (Cr). Manufactured by the German steelworks Lohmann.

Blade - wide, Drop Point type finished with an acid bath for a protective coating on the steel surface. Precision-ground blade with long grain line offers a balance between edge holding and chipping resistance. The Plain blade with a pronounced belly and high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife during precision work. The low descending lower section creates a Guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Wide finger choil allows you to grip closer to the blade for precision work.

Handle - profiled grips made of Micarta, a virtually indestructible material insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and the textured and textured surface improves grip confidence. The grip covers are attached to the bolt with Torx screws. The low descending lower Guard and Fore Finger Groove, a deep finger cut, prevent the hand from accidentally slipping on the blade.

Sheath - made of Kydex. Allows quick retrieval of the knife and protects it from falling out. A set of holes on the edges allows you to adjust the way of carrying to individual preferences of the user.
