Jens Ansø, a Danish industrial designer and knife maker, began his career in 1988. He founded ANSØ of DENMARK in 2001 and is known for the flowing lines, harmony and perfection of his work. His knives, both fixed and folding, reflect an extraordinary attention to detail and soft shapes. He has collaborated with companies such as Spyderco, Böker and Fox Knives, and his designs have been mass-produced. Anso is also valued for his use of exclusive materials and innovative approach to design.

N690Co - rich in cobalt 1.65% (Co), corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo) and vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with a higher cobalt (Co) content. It is characterized by extremely high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened to 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade – Sheepfoot blade with Acid Stonewashed finish, which effectively masks fine scratches caused during use. The thin blade combined with the high, flat grind (Flat Grind) ensures excellent cutting edge geometry and exceptional cutting performance. The opening mechanism is smooth and precise. The blade can be opened using a flipper (index-finger flipper). When unfolded, the flipper forms a mini guard, preventing the hand from accidentally slipping onto the blade. A liner lock mechanism is used to ensure safety and stability during operation.

Handle - Grips made of Canvas Micarta composite, a lightweight material resistant to weather, chemicals and mechanical damage. The characteristic surface treatment called “Ansø texture” ensures excellent grip and control of the tool. The solid backspacer reinforces the structure, ensuring adequate rigidity and strength. The simplicity and robustness of the construction guarantee reliability for many years of use. The single-position clip (right), made of stainless steel, allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position.
