Blade - with a wide curved Leaf Shaped profile, 3.1 mm thickness, provides excellent cutting edge geometry at low friction. The cutting edge was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). Smooth blade (Plain type) extends over the entire length of the blade, enabling powerful blade heel cuts. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV sharp stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Careful placement of a 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out on the blade (Spyderco patent) sets the hand for intuitive opening of the blade and at the same time increases the spine support hinge for spine jimping.
Frame - two full-sized stainless steel plates hidden in the handles, increase stiffness and strength of the handle without adding weight. At the same time, they form the basis of the blade lock mechanism: Liner-Lock by Michael Walker with jimped liner. The whole was screwed by torx screws. The phosphor bronze pads ensure trouble-free smooth opening and closing of the penknife.
Handle - profiled in black color. Made of light textured cladding made of durable G-10, resistant to high and low temperatures, plastic chemicals. The cut in one of the cladding allows intuitive access with the right hand to the SpyderHole gap and to release the blockade of the blade: Liner-Lock by Michael Walker. Metal clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. In the rear part of the handle was placed a gap (lanyard hole) that allows attaching a safety rope.
