- Mandatory Fun Tan Micarta, compact EDC folding knife, design by Russ Komer. This American knifemaker and hunter's knife combines hard to beat value for money and functionality. Equipped with Frame Lock.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

Mandatory Fun Tan G10, compact folder E.D.C., design by Russ Komer. The design of the American knifemaker and hunter combines a quality-price ratio and functionality that is hard to beat.
Blade - 3 mm thick with Clip Point profile, provides excellent cutting-edge geometry with low drag. The blade is made of sharp holding 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Plain type blade is Hollow Grind for excellent cutting ability and weight saving. Glare eliminating Black Stonewash coating. Thumb Stud on both sides of the blade allows you to open the knife even when your hands are slippery or cold. Additionally, the knife can be opened with a flipper. Both methods are suitable for both right- and left-handed operation. Corrugated supports: thumb ramp (spine jimping) and finger choil jimping, index finger undercut on lock.
8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen stainless knife steel, equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel. High content of 13.0% chromium and average 0.8% carbon provide excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 1.0% silicon, 0.3% molybdenum increase the steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-62 HRC.
Skeleton - made of stainless steel provides exceptional strength of construction, while forming the basis of the Frame-Lock mechanism of the head with jimped liner. The whole is bolted together with torx screws for easy unfolding and folding of the folder.
Handle - left side, profiled, covered with non-slip textured lining made of tan G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). Right side made of stainless steel. The facings are attached to a solid spacer (so called backspacer / handle facings connector) made of G10 plastic, which provides strength of construction. Robust, double-sided cut-out in the handle guarantees intuitive right/left hand access to the pins as well as to the head lock release. Metal clip (right side) allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. A lanyard hole in the back of the handle allows for a lanyard or safety line to be pulled through.
