Peter Carey - grew up in Southern California, in a small town surrounded by vineyards and citrus groves, where a knife was a common tool that everyone used and carried, even children. He made his first knife in 1997, and made his first folder in 2000. After years of working as a contract welder in SoCal, he moved to Texas and became a full-time knife maker and designer in 2006. He now sells knives to collectors around the world.

CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, a premium American martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 1.9% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

Blade - drop point type, impressively finished with Two Tone, bevels after bathing in Stonewash stones and covered with black coating, the rest of the blade is satin-finished. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. We can also open the knife with a double-sided stud in the blade (Dual Thumb Stud). Finger choil, a cut under the index finger, prevents the blade from slipping while performing precision tasks. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Handle - bolsters made of 6AL4V titanium, handle made of Copper Carbon Fiber, carbon fiber with copper threads. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges. The grips are screwed to an intricately machined titanium backspacer, giving assurance of many years of use. The pivot is decorated with a stylized WE Knife brand logo. A single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in the tip-up (blade tip up) position.

Case - comes with a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
