Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at Uddeholm steel plant.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade's surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - Dagger type, sharpened on one side, covered with black DLC coating. The light belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The light thickness combined with the high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties and the long grain with a hole increases the strength of the blade. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. On the other side we also have a guard, on both of which are fluorescent dots made of Swiss Superluminova material making it easier to find the knife in the dark. The whole is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage, textured to improve grip. The so-called open-backed mocated with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The simple, secure design provides assurance of many years of use. Two-position left/right wire clip deep carry allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position (tip up).
