915 Path Walnut Wood, Stonewashed by Italian manufacturer Maserin is an example of the harmonious combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern materials. Designed by Igor Bortolussi, the full-tang knife is characterized by its minimalist design and high functionality. The blade is made of Böhler M390 powder steel, which ensures excellent sharpness and corrosion resistance, making it a reliable tool in a variety of conditions. The handle made of walnut wood guarantees a secure and comfortable grip. The traditional leather sheath with magnetic clasp allows you to safely carry the knife on your belt. Thanks to its compact dimensions and solid construction, the Maserin 915 Path is suitable for both everyday use and outdoor trips.
Igor Bortolussi, a prominent knife designer, has worked with MKM for many years, where he has honed his skills by collaborating with various designers. His talent has resulted in the creation of the Mirror 1 model for Viper Knives, which reflects his deep understanding of aesthetics and functionality. Then, developing his vision, he designed Mirror 2, continuing the line of elegant and precise tools. In collaboration with the Maserin brand, Bortolussi created an EDC folder called Pulse, distinguished by its modern design and high-quality workmanship.
M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) with an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC, subjected to vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - drop point type, stonewashed finish, which effectively masks minor signs of use. The blade is 80.0 mm long and 3.3 mm thick and has a full flat grind, which ensures excellent cutting edge geometry and precise cutting. On the back of the blade there is upper jimping - a textured thumb rest that improves the precision of the blade during work.
Handle - made of walnut wood, attached with steel screws, ensures high durability and aesthetics. The ergonomic shape of the handle guarantees a comfortable and secure grip, even during prolonged use.
Sheath - the knife comes with a high-quality leather sheath with a magnetic closure system, enabling safe carrying and quick access to the tool.
