AUS-10 steel - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively inexpensive and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless.

Blade - drop point type, finished with a scratch-masking and glare-preventing Dark Stonewashed finish. The long, slender cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties.
