M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Wharncliffe type, with a slender blade covered with a black protective coating. The straight cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The front flipper allows both right and left-handed people to open the knife quickly and effortlessly. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. A deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip confidence. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Kubey Knife brand logo. A single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade tip up) position. A hidden recess in the backspacer allows you to thread a safety or decorative cord.
