- WD107 Titanium / Carbon Fiber, Hand Grinding Pearlescent, a compact EDC folding knife, for users expecting the highest quality. Universal Blade made of Böhler M390 steel, titanium and carbon fiber Handle, intuitive button lock.
WD107 Titanium / Carbon Fiber, Hand Grinding Pearlescent an exceptional folder designed by Remette Knives, which combines extraordinary build quality with functionality ideal for everyday use. The handle is a unique combination of titanium bolster and Carbon Fiber composite grips. The knife's blade is made of top-quality Böhler M390 steel with excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and long-lasting sharpness retention. This makes the WD107 ready for challenges, whether you use it in the kitchen, hiking or for everyday tasks. The size is appropriately sized for everyday carry. It's neither too big nor too small - perfect for tucking into a pants or jacket pocket. It is not only a tool, but also a sophisticated addition to your collection. Its quality, durability and functionality will make you love it for a long time.
M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - drop point type , finished with hand grinding giving a pearl sheen effect. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. Thethickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity with a release button located on one of the Handle or with a pin in the wedge (thumb stud). On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with the proven and popular button lock.
Handle - bolsters made of 6AL4V titanium , handle made of Carbon Fiber, carbon fiber compressed under pressure with synthetic resin. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges. The grips are screwed to a solid titanium backspacer, giving confidence that the desired stiffness of the overall design will be maintained. On the left side, a wide Button Lock button, placed in a recess to avoid accidental opening. A single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). Above the clip is a hole (Lanyard hole) for threading a safety or decorative cord.
Case - included zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
